Jefferson Memorial, Washington DC
My long time friend, Alan, used to live in Washington DC. He had mentioned to me that the Jefferson Memorial was one of his favorites and recommended I spend some time there. Great recommendation! I decided to spend most of my sunrise time around the Jefferson Memorial. Loved the way the Black & White turned out!

This was one of my favorite shots from the Jefferson Memorial. Love the way the details show in the black & white HDR.

Washington DC Evening
The ARMA conference this year was in Washington DC, so of course I had to take a little extra time for photography. Can’t visit our Nations Capital and not bring my camera. Since ARMA is focused on Records Managers, one of the nights we had an event at the National Archives – pretty awesome! I took the opportunity to walk from one end of the National Mall to the other and capture the city at night. I look forward to bringing my family back here to enjoy the city with them sometime!
Both of these were shot just before dusk on Tuesday evening.
